Excellent shot, Mark.
I admire you that you always strive for beyond the limitation!
May I ask what that gear between the ball head and the camera?

Nice composition and you nailed the exposure time IMHO. Beautiful work.

Thank you everyone for the responses. I really appreciate you taking time. Means a lot to me. Sorry if my responses are so delayed. I am living out of my SUV completely for the next 7 months either shooting or doing workshops, so it is very hard to keep up with communications sometimes...

Like that extra wide perspective. Excellent work as always.

Thank you Harsha for the feedback here! BTW, thank you so much for the great references (Karl Chaing...)! I have had several clients referred by you and that means a ton to me. Karl is an awesome dude and so passionate about landscape! What a pleasure to spend a week with! He showed me the picture of your accident and it is miraculous you are alive to tell the tale of that! I am glad.

Creative use of water + wide angle for leading the eye into the picture (the falls). I like the image but cannot say the same for wonderpana. I have the MC CPL + 3 additional ND filters I used with 17mm TS-E but all filters had some kind of gunk (leftover residue from something) on them which could not be removed with any cleaner solution.

My friend has Wonderpana kit for tamron 15-30 and his ND 3.0 filter has the same problem.

Thank you very much for the compliment.

Hmmm. I have not had an issue with them and this is my second kit (one for the 14mm and another for the 11-24mm). I just use a hand full of microfiber cloths, and like the big Zeiss one the best. Have you contacted Bohus about that?

Fine image, Mark. Your commentary and follow-up responses always mean that I have to google more (usually expensive) gears

. Expensive is right! But worth it!

It is big for sure. I'm still not convinced the quality of glass in the Variable ND Throttle adapter is of the highest standard though. Good cheap alternative though...

I have decided against it for the 11-24. But I could see the use on a more moderate lens maybe...

Thank you Brad. Not an easy place to safely get ones body.

Thank you very much Kee. I try...

That is the whole single row panorama set up by Really Right Stuff (for an ultra wide lens). I can't remember all the names of the separate pieces... But it allows me to do single row stitching using the camera's Nodal Point at any given moment. The trade off is that is is a bit heavy. So I don't carry it on my light tripod when unnecessary... Awesome equipment and worth the high price IMO.

Nice. Great place huh?

Morning. I am guessing about 9AM.

Hello everybody! Bohus here from Fotodiox (yeah, the bald guy from all the videos). Hope that you don't mind my jumping in where I can offer some help.

The ND Throttle (adapter + built in vari ND) has gotten tons of praise for the image quality. It's a versatile tool for a lot of people, but don't forget that it's for connecting a lens to a different branded camera. For example you can't connect an EF lens to an EF camera.

If you're looking for inexpensive ways to do large panoramas via image stitching, you may want to check out the RhinoCam (if you've got a medium format lens lying around) or one of several "shift adapters" which will lt your camera slide in a single direction and is only as large as a lens adapter.

For you two gents having trouble with your WonderPana filters, can you drop an email to [email protected]? I haven't heard of this issue, but Dirk would be a lot closer to it. Don't forget that we offer a 2 year warranty, so if you're within that period, Dirk will find a way to help you.

Thanks everyone, and kudos to Mark for his continued terrific work!

Just a kindly note that this has been addressed here...

Okay this is interesting. Thanks for the note.

Just some background info related to the dirty filters - I ordered them via Amazon USA and it took almost a month for them to arrive to Finland. I was quite pissed off about the situation but should I have returned them it would have taken at least one month to get them back (do not even want to think about all the mess with customs) to Fotodiox.

Yes I have the original receipts of the purchase but I sold those filters at cheap price to my friend who now uses them with this Tamron. They are okay to use away from the sun but not against bright light. I will talk with him and perhaps contact you Fotodiox guys via the email above. Thanks.

Hope you can get is squared away. I absolutely love the setup and swear by it. I have had the Wonderpana for 2 lenses. Canon 11-24 and Rokinon 14mm.

Thank you Bohus. Still loving the Wonderpana! Best in the biz IMO.
