My goodness, Birdie, I am impressed. The "abstracted" background on the first flower really compliments the shot. The DOF on the orange flowers with butterfly is impressive, not to mention the rest of the image. Third image -I know how hard it is to catch those wrens standing still, and the composition is wonderful. But the last image is as much art as it is photo - such a wonderful feel of a watercolor and illustration all done with the camera. Well done indeed.

A wonderful set Birdie. As Fred said, they each are special in their own way, but 3 is my pick. I always find it difficult to pull off a shot with multiple flowers in it, but you succeeded very well ~ Ron

Great exposure on the Iris, so hard to do well with bright whites on darker backgrounds.

Number 2 is superb also. (Long lenses can actually make for great macro looking renditions).

Well done....and Spring has definitely sprung
