Shoes can really set the scene. I used to work for the Dept. of the Interior. A video was made of the assembled staff in one of our field offices. The video silently panned across their footwear. The only thing seen was Hiking Boots and Cowboy Boots. That by itself really told the story about the kind of work they did.
