Cat sniffing the unidentified yellow composites that flourish in dry areas is a nice shot Eric. After briefly considering the flowers, it looks like it has cast its eyes on you as a better flavour alternative. More like chicken, I've heard. And probably a lot more substantive from a caloric and nutrient point of view.
Always a pleasure viewing your work.
Thanks Ken....we were lucky to have some really nice sightings albeit in not the most pleasing light....but considering how difficult in general it is to see these cats I think we both were thrilled.

So is that Catnip that you planted to bring this one in
Very nice Eric, it really works well as partially shown, rather elusive looking grab, sweet one buddy!
Karl
Thanks Karl....It sort of reminded me of a leopard shot I had posted with some yellow flowers around....pretty harsh lighting for many of the shots we had. I do like the intrigue...I wonder if it thinks we can't see it...or just doesn't really care if we do.

Eric,
So nice. You got so many with direct eye contact.
Thanks Mansur...I try to concentrate on getting images like that...the connection of the subject with the photographer translates to subject-viewer.

Persistence paid off sir!!

Yes, lunch like sleep is overrated...papas fritas on the other hand are underrated....it was so nice to always be on the same page...except going up some of the higher elevations or near cliff edges when you were two pages ahead
