As it turns out, my favorite shots were in myfirst post from Fl. I did manage some decent shots, but not as dynamic as I posted earlier. I plan on posting a few from each day, and these are day two of shooting. Thanx for looking, and as always, C&C appreciated ~ Ron

1- A serious photog - not me... ;-)

2- Marbled Godwit in good light.

3- This was badly underexposed and it took a lot of work just to get it presentable.

4- I didn't get any great shots of this GHO and baby, but I decided to post a shot anyway.

Very nice Ron, Florida has such a large variety of birds, glad you were able to get out and capture some.

You are a hard grader my friend....and btw, any owl shot especially on a nest with owlets rates high in my book! My advise, come back and revisit the images a couple of months from now...I bet you will find ones you just love. It seems that once you get some distance from the event you can appreciate what you photographed in a completely different way then right after the shoot.

I think I'll be heading there again next winter. Maybe I should bring some waders to fit in. Or, if I was really really serious, I'd just strip down and lay in the shallow water. Better angles that way. An interesting set Ron, with a good mix of subjects. The godwit is my fave.

nice set. l am ok with getting my worthless body in mud and water, my gear not so much. the next problem would be getting my old carcass back in the vertical position .

Very nice shots Ron. That photog is hardcore! Gotta love the owls. I think Eric's right. Everytime I take a trip and I first look at my images I'm underwhelmed for the most part. After some time I see them differently. In a good way.
