The Wood Ducks have actually been back since March 15th, but this is the first morning where they stuck around to be photographed. Twice I was shut out in the early morning.

I was able to wrap the Kwik Camo around me and photograph on my stomach from the shore.

Still uncertain about the coloring, may look at them again.

Canon 7D II w/ Canon 500mm f4 II and Canon 1.4x III.

Those are gorgeous! Great shots.
All we have left down here is a few blue wing teal and the occasional pintail or wood duck. Going to see if I can get some pics this weekend before we empty out.

I've been looking around for some woodies in a shootable location, but no luck until Sunday when I came across a couple pair near Scandia. They were there again Monday, and hopefully they'll be there the next clear morning.
