nice shot
This was my favorite duck when I lived down by West Matagorda Bay. They taste great and them being around lets you paint decoys to resemble them. Between decoys of these (pink lipstick bills) and canvasbacks (black/white), you've got a big spread that is visible for a very long way. You can call them over you to for better shots. I wasn't much into photography back then and I certainly missed some great shots. We hunted a flooded field one time and had 300 to 400 of these circling with that whistle from them reinforced up to 100+db. They nest in tree boxes too if you've got a convenient place to put one. Send me a pm and I can give you a crash course on shooting these (with gun, trailcam, or dslr).
