I agree with Douglas... for me the colours are too distracting and with some burning you could really focus attention to your subjects.

ehhh - b&w is so overdone in street photography imo, especially the high contrast stuff. i'm going for the opposite effect here, trying to use less DOF, and trying to match skin tones of face to the architecture, while leaving it just a bit more lively so these people are like the personification of this city.

i do think i need more contrast in these color edits to get the effect i want, though - they still seem a bit flat. will keep going with it.

and just for you guys, here's a 30 second lightroom export in b&w - don't be too harsh i didn't spend any time on it.
