A weekend ago, I posted a series of photos of my wife and my older daughter, and received many helpful advice and suggestions from here. Unfortunately I have not been able to coax my daughter to pose for me again this past weekend, but I will continue to try.

Being a father of two means I always have to remind myself to be fair to both of them. So I decided to try some shots with the younger one this past weekend. She is about 18 months old, and no way I could make her pose for me. So I have to get whatever she gives me. Among them, I like this one. Comments and critiques are welcome.

The unposed shots of my son when he was young are better to me than the posed ones. You catch them while they are not paying attention to anyone else.

Thank you, Dave for commenting! I agree, and like the candid, unposed shots more in general as well. In the last series, the mother and the older daughter were both in very similar pose (the older one tried to mimic her mother), and I thought that was cute. When I wrote that, what I tried to say is that there is no way I could do the same with the younger one.

Thank you Jim, for the complement. I especially appreciate your mentioning of the light, as I recently have been trying to get natural light to work with my subject creatively.
