These are all great, Mike. Good clarity, lovely light, sharp detail and a fine isolation of the birds.

Lovely shots Mike...
Crazy that you were there in that time frame, as we were in Florida from 3/8-3/12 and spent a day tooling around Cape Coral too. Your shots are lovely and do a great job illustrating the pure cuteness of these little guys. I particularly like the image of the pair with the background bird falling out of focus.

Yes, I was surprised to see that you were there too. I did run in to a lot of Minnesotans Though. Thanks Bruce..

A really good set of of owl images Mike. Looks like you took control of the opportunity and came up with sharp images where the BG is clean. I like #1 and 4 best.
Thanks Ken, they were everywhere.

You captured a variety of different looks with these. Some look intense; some look humorous. It's hard to take these owl too seriously until you see their claws (as shown in # 3).
That said, all are well done--crisp, clean and colorful.
Thanks for posting.
Thank you. A lady said she got head bumped by one when she visited too often.

Wonderful shots of a truly "comical" owl. Are there young ones about in March?
When do they emerge. BTW my Hooded mergansers arrived a couple days ago. I hope to be imaging them next week. No woodies yet!
Don
Thank you Don, a pair of Woodies showed up a couple days ago and this morning I had the first pair of Hoodies. Hoping tomorrow morning will be sunny.
