Hi,

At the moment my local shop only has the A7ii camera in
stock with the 28-70 lens. They come together as a kit.

I have decided to sell the lens in the Buy & Sell subforum
here as soon as I have purchased the camera.

I have never sold anything in the Buy & Sell Forum. That's
why I have some questions.

I have seen that people buy and sell here with Pay Pal. I
have and use Pay Pal too, so that is not a problem.

My first question is the price for the lens. What would be
a fair price for such a lens: Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS lens ??

Is Sony's warranty considered international? I am buying
from a local Sony authorized dealer, in Mexico.

Locally they go for $160-180 dollars. You may find in the U.S. that they go for less than that.

Not interested in keeping it? Kinda useful to the 28-70 around for when you want to go light yet have some reach.

Thank you for your message : ) !!!

I have some old lenses I'll use via an adapter.
That is why I don't keep the kit lens!
Actually that is my reason for going Sony,
otherwise I had liked an (APS) Fuji camera
with a 16-55 mm. lens.

The easiest way to judge the going rate for this lens is to look at the previous postings in the Buy and Sell forum and see what people have been asking for it in the recent past. Search for Sony 28-70mm in the top right search box in the Buy and Sell forum page and you should see all the listing, most recent first.

I have been pretty happy with that kit lens...You should try using it a bit before selling it...
