Wow! Fantastic compositions as well. I just got my Tamron 150-600 and excited to see such great results. 1,3,6,12 and 14 are my favorites.

thank you! well, actually none of these pictures are taken with the tammy, but it was used on this trip, that`s why I included it in the text. I will make a second post soon, i`ll make sure to put some of the tammy-shots in that one. The tammy is a good lens, very easy to use, and produces very sharp pictures, i`m sure you will get a lot out of it! But stay tuned, a second post is coming!

The moment I saw Tamron's name in your post, I guess stopped reading ahead and started dreaming

Btw, the first image is just so good, the composition, the color tone, the reflection in the water, the posture of the bear. Everything just perfect.

Wildlife in nature at it's finest... amazing gallery of images Asgeir. Amazing.

Together they document your wonderful adventure in a remote place and really must be seen altogether.
2, 4, 5, 11, 14, and 15 are my favorites. Very well done and thanks so much for sharing your experience.

Beautifully executed set of wildlife portraits! To me, the thrill of discovery is in each image; they're really exciting to see!

At first, I wished for a little more detail in the shadows but on my second viewing, I thought having them a bit dark only added to the 'wildness'. I also am sensitive to not changing the lighting so as to make it unrealistic and it seems you chose to keep it real, which I appreciate.

This is a great set though I must say the black & white portraits are especially captivating.

That picture actually has a shuttertime of 1/400 believe it or not :-) Iso4000, f/4, 600mm. It was light from a full moon and that again made the fog in the background lighten up the scene a bit, enough to make the shot possible.

Congrats on thread of the week honors for a fantastic set of images. There is such richness to the photos accompanied by intimacy when it is required and environment when that is what was needed...thanks for sharing these.
