Hi guys!

I'm back from my recent trip to the USA. It's been my first time in America and I'm still overwhelmed by its beauty. I'm really jealous about the opportunity to see these amazing landscapes everyday. I would like to start with a sunset shot from the Grand Canyon:

I hope you guys will like pictures of the USA taken by a german photographer.

At first it looks like a nice but hazy Grand Canyon shot. But then as you pan down, the foreground jut jumps out at you. I like this shot! Thanks for posting.

An excellent shot - really gives a great representation of the different types of light, all in one shot! Colors are nice, and the little ribbon of river really makes it work for me as the extra icing on the cake! Super capture!

Nice composition and a lucky dusting of snow.

A decent first attempt. Sky is a little blown, and deep in the canyon it looks like shadow recovery went a little too far as it appears washed out. Shooting in the desert can be extremely challenging versus a richly colored lush landscape back in Germany. But then again, you only get one chance.
