Here's a shot with afternoon light, the colors come alive in the sun bathed areas.
Seems that landscape photographers gain an appreciation of geology over time, would you agree?

Hey Stan, I have said those exact words. Nothing beats the history of geology, one just needs to have a basic understanding nature and physics to be in awe. Thanks for commenting...

This was taken on New Year's day, in the spring there are small yellow flowers at the base of this draw that offer a beautiful aspect...
