Went to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge late Saturday afternoon and tried to photograph the sandhill cranes. There were hundreds-none got very close-but overall a very enjoyable time.

I wish I would have thought about photographing the Cranes flying past the moon early when the moon was lower in the sky.

Looks like you had some nice light Tom, I think maybe #2 in a horizontal format may work better?
#1 is a nice fly by shot
#3 looks like a far reach

"Fly me to the moon" is my favorite as well. Visited there last week and was astounded by the number of sandies in the vicinity. Thanks for sharing. JIM
