Finally got around to these two from the summer. Both shot on Pan F Plus with Pentax 67 90mm and 200mm. First is from the trail up to the overlook, second is looking north from the top. Feedback always welcome.

EDIT: Added version of #1 cropped as suggested

I really like the composition of #1! My only critique would be that some of the grass and hills look over exposed. I would maybe bring the exposure down a bit and increase the contrast a tad.

#2 is also interesting, but you have a fair amount of noise in the clouds that I would suggest getting rid of.

Both are great shots!

#1 is best for me as well for its composition. I think the image would be better if you can have more tonal separation between the land and sky or maybe crop out the sky altogether.

Like #1 the best. Not sure on the tonal separation at the sky but it still works.

Thanks for posting

Thanks for the feedback, the brighter than normal grass is from using a yellow filter, which renders yellow grass lighter on B&W film. I agree about the visible grain in the clouds.

That's a good point about the separation with the sky. I tried cropping it out when I originally processed the shot but I wanted some more context. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm with Tuan with the crop idea on the first image. The sky seems to detract from the contrast of the hills...

I like both versions of 1, Heron but agree that the sky adds context.

Really like #2. Nice work here. Nothing to critique.
