We go from a gorgeous spring like day to rain and cold

Yesterday was one of the spring like days and the bees were really enjoying the grape hyacinths.

As I sit here and listen to the thunder and pouring rain, I am longing for spring. So, am including a couple of butterflies for good measure.

Your nits , crits and suggestions are most welcomed and appreciated.

I truly love taking pictures of what nature shows me. I do hope you enjoy.

Killer shots everyone of them Birdie. But that 4th shot is way over the top. The detail in those bee shots is incredible.

Your yard looks like a paradise for these little flying critters Birdie.

1 and 4 are so nice with the wings blurred and great detail on the hovering bees.
3 is glorious with some of the wing color matching the beautiful flower, wonderful detail in this one.

5 is a great angle and so cool to see those wings frozen... love it.
2 is an excellent composition, beautiful BG, and once again very nice detail.
Yes... you do make that 300 and accessories do magical things... excellent work and a pleasure to see.

Superb set Birdie....for comp, the second is off the charts...I just love how you positioned that. I would call this a set of killer B's

Great work, Birdie. Makes me think that whether you are familiar with Synchromism or not, you have it in your work. You've made color an integral part of composition - thanks for raising the bar.

You amaze me! Way to pack in some drama, detail and wonderful color with impressive little critters

#1 your focusing accuracy is impressive
#2 that should make for a nice wall hanger Birdie. Gosh if it only also had given you a head on look to make matching prints with!
#3 Spectacular! Simply stunning!
#4 Love the bad-azz look on this one coming at you

Very nice set and hard to pick a favorite. It's a toss up between #3 and #5 for me.

Lovely images, Birdie.

I recognised your first one as yours from the thumbnail at the top of the board.

The only nit is that the second one might have looked better with the butterfly facing inwards. But that is easily forgiven.
