Beautiful pictures Eric,

The first one is fantastic to see the starts and also the Northern Lights, I am assuming those were captured in Iceland.

I went to Iceland last year twice and I didn't have the chance to photograph it.

Thank you for posting.

Well look at you over in the Landscape Forum.
Excellent choice of composition in #1, great to see the stars of course, and the starburst of light down low is an interesting element as well. Beautiful!
I'm not usually a B&W guy... but Churchscape is a terrific image Eric... once again, excellent composition.
Really well done Eric.

What? No exotic cats!?!?!? Maybe you shoulda shopped a kitty or two into the landscapes just so folks know it is really you posting over here in the Landscape Forum.

Both are very nice shots, BTW. The church makes an excellent B&W!

A great pair of images.
I like the B&W a bit more for the tonal/texture

Thanks for posting

Thanks Birdie...it's as if someone placed that church there knowing it would make for good photography

Hey Kirk...thanks my friend...with only the occasional raven I was forced to concentrate on other things...talk about out of the box...but it was so much fun and made me consider things I usually don't even think about with my wildlife images.

Crazy eh? A big cat guy shoots landscapes who would have thought...I think I found the landscape setting on the camera

Thanks so much....I certainly don't fancy myself a landscape photographer but even I could see the potential as we drove by.

Thanks so much Dan...as someone who doesn't often do landscapes I am thrilled to get so many wonderful comments...it takes quite a bit more thought and concentration to do these kind of images than my usual fare.
