Gotta love that first light on the Panamints. I like the foreground hills combined with the background mountains-- it gives makes the mountains feel even bigger. My only suggestion would be to darken the foreground a bit. For it to read more naturally, the shaded area in the foreground should be darker than the sunlit area in the background. That'll definitely change that overall feeling of the photo though.

Hey Ben, I agree with you in theory, but the sedimentary deposit in the FG has very light color, as you know. I will try your recommendation of darkening the FG...
