This image was captured a couple of years ago, but has always been one of my favorites. This was one of those moments when you yell to your buddy who was doing the driving....."STOP THE CAR".

I spotted this little gal just crossing a clearing off to the side of the road. I had my camera on my lap, and after exiting the car, I managed one shot of her before she stepped off the back of the log and wandered away.

Great image ! You nailed the focus and shutter speed for your "one shot". I bet your driver was P.O.'ed he didn't get a shot.

Pretty nice light and you even got catch lights in the eyes.

That's a keeper for sure.

It was an issue with adequate time, Morris. She was on the move. It was stop and shoot or miss the opportunity.

The one that did not get away! As the saying goes, "If you snooze, you lose." You got the shot when you had an opportunity and made the most of it. If you had waited she would have been a goner. Nice going!
