I have either been too busy, too broke or it's too cold or crappy weather to go out shooting this year. So I have been digging through the archives. Here is one from 2010 that was in much need of re-processing.

I remember this photo adventure well because it was ridiculously cold. Like toe numbingly cold in the -30(c) range. . I had to take a break at one point and sit in the car with the heat blasting on my feet. My toes were so cold and numb and I needed to charge some batteries too. This shot was all set up and I just waited for the light to arrive while regaining the feeling in my toes.

Very cool image... the warmth in the sky and cold (literally and figuratively) in the ground complements each other very well.

That skull sure does make a strong foreground, the background ain't half bad either! Put them together and you get a stunner.
