Fantastic Mark. I especially like the tones and colors of this one.
One of these days I am going to have time to join you one on of your workshop adventures.
Don
Thank you very much Don. The color is quite enhanced by the sandstone being quite wet here. A little secret in SW shooting.
It would be a pleasure to have you! Maybe message me with your email address. I send out my Workshop Announcements periodically. At the moment 2016 is getting close to being booked up. But, I also do Private Workshops in between the groups as well. Also, the shorter versions of the Workshop descriptions are always at my website HERE under the "2016 Workshop" section.

Hi Mark,
I'm not brave enough to shoot hand held, so my hat is off to you and your shooting ability ... I love that area and you got it with puddles way cool.
Lived for three years in my conversion van and did the same as you but not as good no one wanted to interview me!

Honestly, no bravery on my part. I was with a client here and the priority is always to get THEM the shot! But in this process I am very often showing them various compositional possibilities. Here is one such time. So, I just take a quick "hand snap" to show them on the LCD what something might look like, or to show them various approaches I might try... It is no wonder to me any more why one of my favorite photographers, Marc Adamus shoots something like 80% hand helds. He too is quite often leading/teaching people.

Taking full advantage of those 11 millimetres. Great shot.
My favorite lens I have ever had! I shoot about 85% at 11mm these days.
