Had the opportunity to get some nice close up shots of this cat lapping up water from a small pan...I would love to get the same shot with perfect lighting and reflection of the cat...is that too much to ask?

Thanks Birdie, a wonderful quote...a shame most of us don't have the opportunity to do what Emerson said...and when and if we do try to do so we are often way past our prime.

Eric, great shot. Most of us would just like to see a leopard let alone get a picture of one

Thanks Tam...tongues as rough as sandpaper to strip fur before entering a carcass and also to strip meat from bone.

Nice, sharp, well focussed on the eye.

Looks like a young animal, is it a boy or girl and did you stake the waterhole for him/her?
