a bald eagle's nest in the los angeles national forest. it is back lit from the shooting perspective. it's also a some what of a high angle from the shooting perspective. however, i may be able to climb up a rock outcrop that will enable one to get just a little bit more elevation respective to the nest. this may allow one to shoot down into the nest. it is what it is and i will do my best in this environment. bald eagles are extremely rare in my part of southern cali. i intend to document the nest via video with my EOS M3 Canon FD 800mm f5.6l combination at a relative perspective of 1600mm and shoot action with a EF 500mm f4.5l coupled to a 5DMKIII. as one said before it is what it is and i will do my best with not so ideal shooting conditions.

why would one have to clear photographing an eagle's nest with the feds in a national forest? surely you're not serious. so you mean to tell me all the folks photographing eagles in the good old USA run to the feds to get permission to do so. Jesus, Lord help us all.....
