My wife and I stumbled valiantly through a series of personal tragedies early in 2015. Once we had established our mindset for life going forward: to heal, travel, adventure and take no prisoners, we received a message from a friend in Nairobi that said simply "Come to Africa." So we did.

Traveling ostensibly as guests of the Africa Yoga Project NGO team, I shot marketing images and staff photos for the organization and we travelled to different outreach locations with their ambassadors. I'll add some top images from our time in the grand slum of Kibera, the Langata Women's prison and a day with the indomitable kids of the Mama Africa Children's Home, but for now, please enjoy what we found on a well-earned three day safari to the Mara.

All are great but couldn't help noticing the first was taken at 31mm. Great, great catch but 31mm seems waaaay too close.
