Sweet!

My dad has been an alpinist (Alpine Mt climber) for over 40 years and has just recently wrote a book about it (Breathing Clean Air). We have been watching a lot of climbing movies together recently (SEE MERU!!!). So this especially strikes a chord with me. Breathtaking.

Thanks very much for your most welcome and kind comments about the image. Almost all of the high peaks in the Olympics that challenge climbers, including Carrie, involve long approach distances from the river valleys.

I have seen Meru, great film! One of my favorites is North Face.
