Christmas Eve for whatever reason I often find myself out taking photos. Today I took a little drive around home. Finally got some clear skies to go along with all the fresh snow! For a while there it wasn't looking like we'd even get snow for Christmas.

Hey Scott,

Very nice shots here working the sun with the snow. I like #1 the best, though I would like #2 the best if not for those indentations in the snow. It's still a great shot, but those distract and for me put it below #1.

#3 for me. The bent small tree with the tuffs of snow at the end and the shadows created on the pure white foreground of snow make for a nice anchor and foreground. The sun in the background coming though the trees finishes it with a nice background.

Looks like #3 is #2 with some clone work.

I can feel the crisp, cold air on my face.

We just got our first snowfall here today. If the sun comes out my homework for today will be to get something like this.

Scott, I like the second and third images. But, each has its own merit. I like the warmth of the 2nd, inviting but the two snow impressions break the solitude. The 3rd, clean, but cool. Still, well done as usual.

Thank you all again!

I am typically not a fan of heavy cloning of stuff in an image so I am still on the fence about the edit but I agree it is now too cold. So I've warmed it back up a bit.
