There always tends to be a certain percentage of folks who want to crop off wide sweeping shots like this. I have often encountered that in feedback on my own work. My tendency is to like to exaggerate wide sweeping foregrounds so I usually resist the crops. But obviously that is different for different tastes...

Beautiful image Jason! I've been to the Pfeiffer beach on Dec27th. I thought I got a great shot, after looking at yours there is no comparison! Congratulations on the amazing landscape picture!

Sick sea-scaper indeed! Love this. Just so much in this image. As others have suggested - it is helpful to hear the plan I g piece thanks. If you have a minute could you expand on the 2 pano technique you mentioned? Thank you for Sharing. Looking forward to more sick scapes!

I grew up in Big Sur.

Believe it or not, it's actually called "Keyhole Arch" and not Pfeiffer Arch, although that runs counter to what one might intuit, given that it's at Pfeiffer Beach.

I love this. While I'm sure it would have been just as amazing an image cropped as mentioned in the earlier feedback, somehow this framing draws me in, as though I could almost look down and see my feet in the water. I live by the beach although not one quite as spectacular and this takes me there.
