Thanks you Tam. I also used the Sigma150-600 C on the 7D II, however the 100-400 II gave me better IQ>

Thank you Morris. Yeah I always approach shore birds that way. The only problem is getting some sand in your camera. This time I found myself right in the middle of the colony surrounded by birds w/o realizing it. As soon as I got up to leave they all run away

Fantastic set of these rare plovers Socrate. Do the color bands designate areas ? I did not see any numbers or letters for id'ing individuals. TFS

You have a very white sand beach! You have me hooked on the series, love the colors and the fine work on the whites and subtle brown tones. Fabulous set, refreshing

Thank you Herb. I don't believe color bands designate an area. Probably a project. Some birds had 3 or 4 band either of different colors or the same one. Not sure.

Thank you Karl. Even though the light was a bit harsh it allowed me to take full control of the camera.
Yes Pensacola Beach advertises itself as: "The whitest sand in the world". It feels like powder sugar

Thank you, Troy. I have been very happy with my 7D II. I even got a second one as back up and they are both performing greatly.
