My second from the first quarter...honestly, I usually know exactly what I want to post but am really conflicted this year...but it is hard for me not to post at least one cat image. I had envisioned this type of image for many years and although its not exactly what I'd seen in my mind's eye...close enough to make it one of my faves of the year.

Spring brings the most opportunities, so it was hard to pick what to post for Apr-Jun. But I had so much fun with birds on mullein stalks that I just had to pick something from the "mullein forest".

Thanks Geoff, I was just thinking about this thread the other day and wondering when it would begin.

1) January to March. Fortunate to have a neighborhood Northern Hawk Owl this past year in Eau Claire Wisconsin. "Lars" 1/13/15
