Beautiful image. Are you using focus stacking at all? or is this how much DOF you get with a super wide lens?

Two exposures here. One for the landscape, a second for the sky. But, focus wasn't changed at all. I typically set focus at infinity ( or focus on the distance in live view at max magnification) Then, leave it set. f/11 - f/16 at 14mm has enormous DOF. Unless there is something of interest inches away, a second exposure for sharpness isn't needed.

Truly a gorgeous capture. The kind of thing I crave witnessing with my own two eyes; your "really large version" did the trick for that!

BTW, how abrupt is the transition between sky and earth, editing-wise? It looks very well done, and I'm just wondering if it's a single exposure with any sort of selective editing, or separate exposures blended in an automated manner, or if the "seam" is 100% manual. Thanks!

See previous comment to yours.... When I do blend in exposures, I typically use gradients or luminosity masks. Trying to keep it subtle and natural. Also, there are times where the ISO of the blended exposures is different. I'll adjust the noise so the blends are seamless, even viewing at 400%, that way a fine art print at 30 x 45 doesn't have any obvious editing or transition points. Thanks for commenting !
