Or at least it looked that way on this particular July morning. This was one of those mornings that I almost didn't crawl out of my sleeping bag because I knew it would be just another boring, non eventful sunrise on the north shore. Everyone else must have thought the same thing because I was the only photographer out there that morning as far as I could tell.
The 3:30 alarm screamed loudly at me and I just wanted to smash it, but I think it was worth it.
This first one was the scene before sunrise.

And after sunrise I watched the fog moving in and realized the position of the sun just might work.
