Loved them all-what time of the year are the eagles there? I plan on being in Haines in July and September of 2016. Will I miss them by being too early?

They arrive in numbers usually late October and stay into December. There are eagles around all year and there are lots of active nests in the area that will be very active in July with eagles getting ready to fledge. There will also be lots of bears in July and September along the Chilkoot river which is past the ferry on the way to Chilkoot lake.
