When I first spotted them I thought they were cows. Once I got closer I realized they are not cows.

From the Island of Dr. Morreau perhaps? What a neat find, would love to know what the purpose of the interbreeding is if it was indeed a planned genetic one...I thought buffalo and something else but maybe Tim is right with yak+...very cool roger.

My guess is either Yak but probably more likely Highland cattle

I googled "cow hybrids" Roger, and the yak - cow cross looks like the winner to me too. So would you call one a "YOW" or maybe a "CAK" ~ Ron
