This was taken last weekend at Silver Lake in the Eastern Sierra. I was hoping for a colorful sunset as there was light cloud cover in the late afternoon, but it never materialized. Fortunately, that same cloud cover created an impressive moon dog (halo around the moon caused by refraction in ice crystals in the clouds). All light is coming from the moon thin this one and any thoughts are welcome.

This is surreal!
Just curious about asymmetry of the moon dog - was it really not an ideal circle, or that is the effect of the wide angle lens?

Thanks Sasha - I am assuming it is an effect of the 14mm lens.
