That was a strange shooting session.
First, perhaps I could get to the Temples a bit earlier, but it was my very first time in the area, so had troubles finding the road. Still, I managed to get there just before the sun went down the ridge on the west.
Second, there was another person at this location. Actually, two other people. Just imagine - you drive to a middle of nowhere in the remote American Southwest desert to find there two other Russians.
And third, just when the cloud in a middle started to turn pretty pink, some ugly thing appeared in a middle of my field of view - a big dark spot. It was not an insect, neither was it sensor dust. A piece of debris came from inside the lens right to the middle of the front element.
The lens is out of repair now (by Olympus) and I can't wait to find out what it was, because the lens is hermetically sealed, shake, dust and moisture-proof, and I was using it non-stop for at least five years. Thanks goodness I had another wide angle with me in a car, so #3 was shot with a different one, and in #4, the ugly spot was cloned out.
Anyway, here are the pictures from this session, I like them all for different reasons, and find it hard to select the favorite.
