Here in Alaska the flowers have either shriveled and died or gone to seed. The red Fireweed plants, once four feet tall, have burst their now white seed pods and in the strong winds the seeds fly like comets. The only way I was able to catch a single seed in flight was when it caught for a moment on a spider's strand which strummed like a guitar string and made focusing my 90mm on two inches of extention tubes a fun challenge.
I love to go and see what curiosities await me in the woods.
