You know, I didn't consider the Batis. I just purchased the Sony 16-35 f4 and I'm not in love. Amazon so I might return it. Nice but not magical. The 25km f2 Batis might do the trick.
Anytime know when it will be available?

Guy is spot on, this thread poses a serious threat to bank accounts and family peace .
My Leica Elmarit 90mm 2.8 works as perfectly on the a7rii as it did on the a7r. Assuming you're counting a-mount lenses, my two old Minoltas (the 100 Macro and the 200 2.8 APO HS) and my 70-400G2 work excellent, too (I've only used via the LA-EA4, so no idea how the G does with LA-EA3).
From my limited experience with the 75 Lux and the 75 Summarit on the a7r, they should perform well on the ii. My experience with a rented Lux was very limited and I found it hard to focus wide-open (IBIS might make things easier), but the rendition is just beautiful. As a bonus, it gets insanely sharp a few stops down.
Re: 24. If you can live with an ever so slightly longer FL and don't mind focus-by-wire, I'd take the Batis. Looking at Guy's test, Zeiss really hit a home run with that lens. The a-mount CZ 24mm f2 is a sharp, well corrected prime and probably better than most, but I sometimes found its quirks a bit annoying, but probably that was just me. The Sigma Art and the Samyang 24mm f1.4 have many fans, but they are quite massive. If you're looking for an m-mount lens, the 24 Lux apparently performs well on the a7r and a7rii, but that lens isn't particularly small and of course costs an arm and a leg.
