Cool shot. I agree, the black and white does look better. My only critique is that the sky looks unnaturally contrasty/detailed and as a result competes a bit too much with the steam and water.
I love the shot. Like Heron said the sky can look un-natural, but I don't mind it.. it adds to the dramatic effect for me. The 'splash' in the foreground is perfect. I might crop just a bit of that bottom out to bring the viewer closer to that splash
Thanks for the input on the sky. I added a lot of contrast to bring out the details in the water. I can use a layer to mask out the contrast in the sky but it seemed to add some drama. Maybe too much.
