Update:
Wanted to post the # 1 again after the flare removal.

Adding one more photo from Bryce amphitheater. This was taken just moments before I took the first photo (post earlier). Till then the hoodoos were not illuminated. Regardless I took this shot as the clouds were brightest red I had ever seen.

Hey Roy,

I am really liking #1, but I would suggest 2 things for it. 1st, get rid of that lens flare up in the upper right corner. Lot's of ways to get rid of it depending on what the flare is on, in this case, just use a layer mask selecting just the flare, and then on the bottom layer adjust the Color Balance to match the surrounding color.

I really like that first photo Roy, great light at such a cool place!

I find the composition of the second photo just a little on the boring side.

Great range of color & light

The second one, while colorful is not as compelling.
