Thanks Morris....the 500 in the garbage were not so much

Nothing wrong with these Eric. You got some marvelous poses and a nice clean background.
Birdie
Thanks Birdie...frustrating that I couldn't get them to go to the flowers but at least I was able to get full frame shots...some even using extension tubes.

Birds don't like cats, Eric, and the first one is telling you what he thinks of your previous efforts
Nice hummers, by the way
Gero
Thanks Gero...in fact one of the reasons I think we don't get as many hummers as I would like is due to the neighbor's outside cats....we often find feathers about from some of the other birds and I did witness an ambush once of a house finch.

At least he offered his opinion! SmartA$$ little bird
I think you did a fine job on these Eric. Great poses, sweet background, marvelous work my friend. I like em
Tim
Thanks Tim...you have boosted my ego and confidence....but I will still go back to more feline subjects....but first, two weddings!

#4 is the special image here. I've had many hummers this year, yet I haven't found a way to capture them very well. I'll send a few your way for another shoot.
Don
Thanks Don...I have done much better when the venue is more conducive...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I understand you!
Then again, who am I to say, we do not have hummers at all
We only have one kind of wild cat, I have seen it once in wild(no evidence), so I should not judge at all.
Wait, they are good pictures.
Jarmo
We have a number of wild cats but oddly, they don't seem to want to be in my neck of the woods....I couldn't imagine the fear if someone sighted a mountain lion in the woods behind our house.....I think there may be more mountain lions in California than lions in South Africa....scary thought!
