My favorite is the #6 waterfall but all are nice. I'm heading to NC in about 10 days. Do you mind sharing what falls that was? I'm planning to be in the Highlands area.

Hi, Doug. Thanks for your comments.
These were taken around Brevard Area. The waterfalls in #6 is called Looking Glass Falls. Very well known for its easy access. The first one is called Mill Shoals and French Broad Falls. They are located on a private property but the Living Water Ministry allow the public to enjoy their view. However the best place to hike in that area is the DuPont State Forest were you can see three waterfalls; the Hooker Falls, Triple Falls and High Falls (last pic).
Highland area is also a good place to see waterfalls: Bridal veil Falls, Dry Falls and Glen Falls are a must see among others. Depending how long you are going to stay and how far you want to drive, east of Cashiers there are also some interesting places to see. Whitewater Falls is one: among the highest and very spectacular. You can google these waterfalls to get more info. However if you are really interested in visiting waterfalls in NC this is the book you need to get:
