I'm lucky enough to live 2 minute from the beach. Here a few image I took yesterday while went for a very CHILLY winter in New Zealand boogie board!

You can see the whole montage here if you are interested.

Hey Luke,

Going to the beach is fun! Neither of these shots are working for me really.

#1 is a bright colored shed, but not something I would correlate with a Landscape image as landscapes are more about the natural side of things, not man made objects. Even outside of that, all the wires in the sky, the sloping up curb on the left all hurt that image. If these are series of sheds, I would have chosen one in the middle for one, so that there would be symmetry on both sides of it.

#2, an afternoon shot into the sun so that the exposure is underexposed and there is a lack of detail, again doesn't work for me. The sun reflecting so bright off the wet sand doesn't work, and the adult/child combo doesn't work as the reflections are running into each other and don't provide the separation really needed. If the child was bending over just a foot away from the adult, that would have been awesome.

Anyway, that's my thoughts on these.

Jim
