Liked a lot this one. Jon, can you post the EXIF info and gear? Also some details about how you took the photo if you want.

Thanks!

Thanks Mike(?). I can't edit my original post above now that voting is open to show the EXIF, but I can tell you that I used a Sony A7r with a 55mm lens, ISO 100, f/16, 10 seconds.

I had my camera on a tripod pointed straight down at the corner pocket (hence the title) of our pool table with just the light over the pool table illuminating the area. I originally had thought of including a portion of the table and corner pocket, but when I zoomed in and saw the glow of the colors close up, I decided to crop very tight which resulted in this image..after a couple of attempts with various settings adjustments. I was looking for maximum depth of field and low noise so I ended up at f/16 (though I'm sure something more open, like f/8 would have worked) and ISO 100 which resulted in a long exposure. I also dimmed the light to reduce the specular reflections that in previous attempts had resulted in a distracting glare. So, all-in-all, it was pretty straight forward!

Thanks for the info and explanation, Jon. That 55mm lens is a regular one or macro?

You're welcome Mike. It's a normal 55mm f/1.8 lens with a close focusing distance of 1.6 feet, so the crop is pretty significant in this image. I don't have a macro lens right now, but this lens resolves so well that I can fake the macro look (especially when attached to a 36MP sensor)...though this one could have been just a little sharper.
