very nice shot. I couldn't even see the mountain when I went there. zero visibility for the entire time. Shots like this will definitely have me going back for another try though

Here is the last one from my series of Aurora shots...
One of the strongest aurora last March in Iceland. Too bad we were driving when sunset twilight and aurora came into one scene. We stopped by a nearby pond to capture this amazing scene.
Wow. I have always wanted to witness Aurora borealis but have not yet been able to.
I know this is a single image, and I would say even if it were a composite that I still really love the composition and light balance of the image.
The light from the headlights of the approaching car give it a surreal mixed lighting feel that tempts my eye to study the image in more detail. Before reading your comments, I studied it quite a bit to figure it out.
