[EDIT] The last few weeks have been great for capturing the milky way. Added 3 more photos from a recent trip.

I have very limited chances to catch the milky way in eastern, CT. Last Thursday we were forecasted for a moonless, cloudless summer night so I went down to Watch Hill, RI.

Hey Chris,

I am not big for selfie star shots, but yours isn't too bad. Just reduce the red that is reflecting from the light onto your forehead in it.

In the other 3 take the time and clone out the streaks of lights from planes and such in the sky, they really take away from the star shots, they don't add to it.

Overall, great job with the Milky Way. A little heavy on the Light Painting, you want the light to be a little more subtle where it's hitting on the foreground. But overall, a nice feel to these, my favorites would be #1 (without you in it) or #2 if the horizon was not dead center.

Looks like you had a fun time out shooting the stars here.

Nicely done! I think in #2 you could've lost some of the foreground and shown more of the milky way.
Jim has already offered some good suggestion.

Hey Chris,

Looking at the original comments, it looks like you not only added photos but moved around the order since the comments no longer correspond to the right photos, that will be quite confusing for anyone who reads the comments and sees the photos.

Instead of adding photos to an old thread, you should have just started a new thread and posted up to a max of 5 photos in it.
