Thanks, it is always nice to show an after the storm shot as colors are more vibrant.
What a great balance of color and tone between the menacing grays in the upper sky and the warm golds on the horizon and the foreground in that first image - and the contrast works more effectively for being natural and not artificially heightened. The framing is just right. The second photo has wonderful light and colors.
Stunning shots, both of them, however, I really like the first one the drama in the scene speaks for itself. As Francios said, print it large and hang it on the wall.
