During the recent tour to India, we enjoyed 16 safaris. On the 16th, during the last 5 minutes, we witnessed a rare spectacle. 3 tiger cubs engaged in battle. As we all know, siblings do not always get along, this holds true with tigers especially. They are very territorial, and will fight to the death if there is an invader nearby.
Much like us humans.
Cubs like these ones are usually in play while fighting.
In this case, it was the 2 females that really got into it.
The male on the right decided to jump out to a safe distance.
Special thanks to my only guest Peggy, she and I are very much overwhelmed by these superb animals.
At 67 years old, she handled the trip extremely well, as we became much better friends, her photography has grown to an excellent level.
I will try to post some of her images on my blog soon.
Here are 2 from the fight, a few others are being saved for possible publication.
I will post some more in this thread as they become available.
Have a good week! Raptors in Flight for me later today!
