Beautiful scene, and well done image, Ben. I wish I was there right now..
Me too Jeffrey. Not sure I want to drive in their alone, I had a friend with me for this trip with his vehicle. I am pretty much a newbie at this level of 4WD roads.

Very good. I like the skies and low angle of the sun. Everything looks like a dream.

This is a very neat place, can't wait to get back.

Very nice again Ben.
You were lucky with both the morning and evening shot skies also.
You are so right, you can do it all right, but without some luck with the light and atmospherics, it won't work. I usually need to choose between red cliffs or red clouds, both of which may occur on the same evening, but not at the same time. I usually go for the red cliffs when I have both. This night I never got red clouds anyway. But the clouds were dramatic enough without the color.
I will return to this place, but I may never be this good.

Well glade that things lined up for you. The back country can be very gnarly if you have not done it before. As stated before great comp, weather and post was done well. Was this with you new UWA toy?favored you?

Good lucky going back!

It was taken with the 11-24 at 13mm. I have the 5DR-S on order, but I am guessing this lens will be the best photo investment made this year.
