Shot these at the pasture next to the parking lot while waiting to pick up the GF. Horses were spooky and it was tough getting the light on their eyes.
The sanctuary is near Lompoc on California's Central Coast and is usually not open to the public -- some very pretty ranching country in the area although the ongoing drought has browned everything up earlier than usual.
Four that are far from perfect but I think I like:
